Is Grace a License to Sin?

Is Grace a License to Sin?

People tend to raise walls when it comes to Grace. Many think that being under Grace means a License to sin. One simple question? What License do I need? Drivers License, Photoshop License, Computer License, Trading License or a Fishing License….that is just plain absurd, if you haven’t noticed yet but people sin without a license!

Many people think that when I talk about Grace that I am saying its a licence to sin or to do whatever they want because we are under Grace and no longer under the law and its 10 commandments, (See Rom 6:14, Rom 7:6) well let’s see what Paul says, Romans 6:1-2

6 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase?

2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

Grace is the Gospel 1

The law cannot teach us to deny ungodliness…it only exposes your deficiencies and lack and shortcomings and makes you sin more and more! Through the law comes the knowledge of sin. Jesus has fulfilled the law (the 10 commandments, ceremonial Law and Law of demands) when someone has knowledge of sin they not under Grace, knowledge of sin shows we are still under the law, Christ has fulfilled it, we no longer under law but grace. Rom 3:20 In Galatians chapter 1-5 Paul rebuked the Galatians for going from Grace back to the law! Today there’s so many people that think we are still under law (while Christ has delivered us from it), and the worst of all is Pastors is preaching it and encouraging it! Putting people under a yoke and bondage We cannot balance law with grace! Preach a little bit law and preach a little bit grace! When you do this, you neutralizing Grace and Christ is no effect to you, when you preach law, people going to sin more! that’s how you start a revival of sin (see 1 Cor 15:56) the law stirs sin.preach Grace and people will sin no more, be victorious, rule and reign like a king and prosper. Only when you have a revelation of the finish work of Jesus will you appreciate His Grace and start living under Grace, when you do not have you keep on falling on self-righteousness, works and the law, trying to keep the law (613) which is unkeepable and will fail in everything. The law was never given for man to keep! the law is not keepable, in 2000 years no one was able to keep it, God gave the law to show man he needs a savior, when you and I under the law it is a compulsive whole, can’t just keep what you like, there are 613 laws to keep, you break one, you break them all. The law makes you sin-conscious, it is a slap in Father God’s face saying ” the sacrifice of your only Son isn’t enough for my sin” let’s not be sin conscious but be Jesus conscious. Isn’t it funny that many Christians say that Grace is there to help them keep the Law so that they won’t sin? These people have really missed it!… Grace is not there to help you be righteous by your works… Grace is there to make you righteous WITHOUT having to do works!” this is for the legalists (Our biggest challenge will not come from the world but from those who share the same heavenly Father but have a different mother. Sarah – Grace or Hagar – Law.) Old covenant of LAW is a flesh covenant. If you are under the LAW, you are walking in the flesh. The new covenant of Grace is a Spirit covenant. If you are under grace, you are walking in the spirit. Under the law, you are slaves of sin, BUT, if you are under grace, YOU ARE SLAVES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. Romans 6:18. I am a prisoner of righteousness. Jesus became sin who knew no sin for us to become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Titus 2:11-13, 11 for the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,

13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus;

Wear your Robe of Righteousness….

God has given us a beautiful free gift, it’s the robe of righteousness!

Isa 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. righteousness is from faith to faith (see Rom 1:17) not works to works, by faith apart from good or bad works, we are the righteousness of God

2Co 5:21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [[7] endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].,

Righteousness Reign

this robe has many pockets, in one there’s favor, in another there’s healing, in another there’s finances and much more to discovered! wear your robe by faith, we are the righteousness of God in Christ! but every day you will have thoughts and actions contrarily to that righteousness because it’s not your righteousness but it’s His, you are righteous by faith and not by works,

Pro 3:33 The curse of the Lord is in and on the house of the wicked, but He declares blessed (joyful and favored with blessings) the home of the just and consistently righteous.

Pro 10:6 Blessings are upon the head of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) .

Pro 10:30 The [consistently] righteous shall never be removed

Pro 11:28 He who leans on, trusts in, and is confident in his riches shall fall, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall flourish like a green bough.

Isa 54:14 You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

Righteous forever through Christ’s obedience. Those who know they are righteous reign

2 Corinthians 5:2 For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Titus 3:5 (NIV) He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.

Malachi 4:2 The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings

Believer not just forgiven, but made righteous too. Place your hand over your heart right now and boldly declare: I (state your name), AM the righteousness of God in Christ!

Come on, say it out loud at least three times and believe and believe it in your heart every day. If the enemy tells you, “You’re a bad Christian and that’s why you’re sick,” just declare, “I AM THE RIGHTEOUS IN CHRIST!” When you honor the work of the Son, you will see Him arising “with healing in His wings” for every weakness, distress and pain!

My friend, at the cross, Jesus did not just take away your sins, He also gave His righteousness! A divine exchange took place ~~ your sins for His righteousness. This means that today, you are as righteous as Jesus Himself ~~ not because of your good works, but because of His finished work!

Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness

Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

.Romans 4:6 (NIV) David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

.Psalm 146:8 (NIV) The LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.

.Rigtheous forever through Christ’s obedience

Because your righteousness from the Lord is not based on what you have done, but what He has done at Calvary, you cannot lose this righteousness through the wrong that you do. And if you are righteous, healing, a blessing that belongs to the righteous, belongs to you!

When you realize that you cannot earn your righteousness, you’ll realize that your failures cannot cause you to lose this righteousness, and therefore your right to God’s healing.

Beloved, you are forever righteous because of JESUS’ obedience (not your obedience) and finished work! Through His perfect sacrifice, He has qualified you for healing, wholeness, and long life!

.Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Psalm 92:12 (NIV) The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

.Job 36:7 (NIV) He does not take his eyes off the righteous; he enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.

.Rom 1:17  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”

Those who know they are righteous reign

Why is it important to know and believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ? Because it is those who know and believe that they are righteous in Christ will reign in life. When you reign in life and reign over sin, poverty, depression, addiction and all types of sickness. Having a strong and robust body is part of reigning in life. Instead of death and all its related forms reigning, life and life more abundantly will reign in you! So every day, receive God’s gift of righteousness by simply thanking Him for it, believing it in your heart and speaking it to yourself. Beloved, you can start to reign in life today!
